Dorothy "Dottie" Owens, 88, of Suches and Acworth died Sunday, February 9, 2020.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Cowart  officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.  She is survived by her husband, Ernest Owens of Suches; sons, David (Sharon) Sutton and Johnny Sutton of Acworth; Mark Sutton and Drew Sutton of Cartersville and Roger Sutton of Austell; stepchildren, Erna Fellabaum and Charlie (Dee) Owens of Acworth and Mike Owens of Cedartown; 18 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren;  sisters, Joyce (Marvin) Beal of Hiram, JoAnne Faulkner of Dallas, Peggy Ramsey of Hiram, and Helen Miles of Austell; brothers, Mickey (Cathy) Patterson of Powder Springs and Ernie (Sherry) Patterson of Mableton; several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 on Tuesday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
