Dorothy "Dot" Davis, 79, of Woodstock, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018.  A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, December 13 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Georgia with Rev. Ken May officiating.  Dorothy was born in Pickens County (Ludville) and was a graduate of Cherokee High School.  She was employed, as a supervisor with Southern Bell/Bellsouth/AT&T and was a member of Antioch Christian Church.  Dorothy loved dolls and was an avid collector.  She also, loved this time of year, the Christmas season.  She was known as Dorothy or "Dot" but to her three grandchildren she was known as Mimi.  She is survived by her husband, J.L. Davis; daughter, Lynn (Dennis) Key; son, Jonathan (Lori) Davis; 3 grandchildren; Tyler (Lauran) Key, Nathan Davis, and Lauren Davis; 1 great-granddaughter; Hadley Grace Key; 1 sister, Judy Pearce; several nieces and nephews.
