Donald Lee Adkins, 82, of Kennesaw, died Sunday, February 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. Mr. Adkins was born in Waverly, Ohio but had lived in Kennesaw since 1988. He retired from General Motors in Parma, Ohio as a press operator. Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Juanita Adkins and is survived by his children, Greg (Kathy) Adkins of Kennesaw and Debbie Kish of Acworth; grandchildren, Leah (Bryan) Davis of Kennesaw and Tim Kish of Acworth; sisters, Mary (Wayne) Baldy of Tallapoosa, Ruth Adkins of Indianapolis, and Irene Baker of Chicago; several nieces and nephews also survive.
