Don W. Sproles, 89, of Cartersville, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Monday afternoon in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Sierra officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.  Don was a Corporal in the Army during the Korean war and retired as a Machinist from Lockheed Martin after 40+ years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bleeka Gay Sproles, son, Daniel Sproles and brother, Hershel Sproles.  Surviving are his children, Charlotte (Doug) Gilbert of Acworth, Ronnie (Wendy) Sproles of Dallas and Donna (Donnie) Burns of Rockmart; grandchildren, Patrick, Ashley, Jonathan, Josh, Melissa, Natalie and Noelle; several great grandchildren also survive.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until the service starts at 2:00 on Monday afternoon at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
