Domingo "Sandy" Alvarado, 83, of Marietta passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 2nd at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.  Domingo served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He also, served as a member of the American Legion for 29 years. "Sandy" loved to entertain people.  He worked as an entertainer and had his own band for 20 years. "Sandy" was inducted into the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his wife Helen Alvarado; his sons, Terry Burnette and Johnny Burnette; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
