Cynthia Lewis Dunn, age 84, of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, after a long battle with dementia.  A Celebratory Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Marietta Funeral Home.  She will be buried on St. Simons Island at Christ Church at a later date.  Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents William Harding and Florence Hockaday Lewis, three brothers, Clive William Lewis, Robert Penwarden Lewis, and Gerald Harding Lewis, and one sister Joan Lewis Andrews.  She is survived by her daughter Sharon Dunn McDonald and her husband Steve of Acworth, GA.  Born in Brunswick, Ga., she grew up on St. Simons Island and attended Glenn Academy. She moved away to attend Brenau College then made Cobb County her home. She was a loving mother, and friend who loved all animals, especially cats, and they loved her.
