Connie Cook Bailey, 68, of Marietta, died Tuesday, January 29, 2019.  A memorial service will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2 at 2:30pm with Dr. J. Gerald Harris officiating.  Mrs. Bailey's family was her focus.  Being a wife, mother and Grammy was her entire life.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, William Monroe Bailey Jr.; children, Lawson Christopher Bailey Sr. (Michelle), and Lesley Allison Hendrix (Ryan); grandchildren, Lawson Christopher Bailey Jr., Lukas Athan Bailey, William "Liam" Monroe Bailey III, Kannon Franklin Hendrix, and Bailey Marie Hendrix.  She is also survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Marietta Funeral Home on Saturday prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Schools for Niger Africa .  Online condolences may be expressed at www.mariettafuneralhome.org
