Clyde Farist's Obituary
Clyde Farist, 87, of Acworth, died Monday, April 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Friday afternoon at the graveside in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens with Dr. David Joyner officiating. A native and lifelong resident of Acworth, Mr. Farist was a retired general contractor. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Edna Mae Farist and his grandson, Adam Johnson. Surviving are his daughter, Susan Makar of Acworth; son, Ronnie Farist of Acworth; grandson, Sean Farist of Cartersville and great grandchildren, Arrick Farist and Amber Farist; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
