C harlie Joe Hunter, 61, of Acworth, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023.

Mr. Hunter was born November 6, 1961 in Trion, GA to Mr. Billie Lee Hunter and Mrs. Jackie Annelle Brooks.  He was a locksmith by trade and employed by Michael's Keys.  Charlie enjoyed watching football and absolutely loved the Dallas Cowboys.  He enjoyed evening barbeques, hanging out with friends and listening to classic rock music.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Elsie McDaris of Acworth, GA; children, Rachel (Michael) Schneider, Cynthia Hunter, Kristina Hunter and Charlie Hunter all of Fort Worth, TX; mother, Jackie Annelle Atchley of White, GA; brother, Wayne Hunter of Acworth, GA; sisters, Annelle (Robert) Gainor of Taylorsville, GA, Cindy Hunter and Vicky Hunter both of Cartersville, GA; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; stepchildren, Jessica (Quincy) Arnold of Cedartown, John Young of Flintville, TN; nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
