Charles Lynn Smith, 84, of Fairmount, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022.  Funeral services will be held, 2:00pm Saturday afternoon in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Benning officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.  Charles loved to fish and loved his family.  He was very active in the church and a member of Acworth Church of God of Prophecy.  Charles was preceded in death by 1 ^st wife, Margie Mae Smith and 2 ^nd wife Ellen Maureen Smith.  He is survived by his children, Mark Smith, Kimberly Smith both of Fairmount and Ricky Dean Mitchell of Woodstock; brother, Lamar Smith of Rome; sister Donna Sue Cline of Adairsville; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00-8:00.
