Charles (Charlie) Richard Bourne, II of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019.  A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm prior to the service. The family has requested that everyone wear camo or Smokey Bear attire.

Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Hayes Bourne; his father-in-law, Milton N. Turner; his son, Jason Charles Bourne.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle Bourne of Cartersville, GA; daughters, Amanda (Eric) Carmel of Cartersville, GA and Megan Bourne of Thomasville, GA; his father and step-mother, Dudley M. "GI" (Irene) Bourne, Sr. of White House, TN; sisters, Martha (Gary) Davis of Hendersonville, TN, Laura (John) Nilsen of Jacksonville, FL, Marianne (Mike) Brown of Leesburg, VA; brothers, Dudley (Holly) Bourne, Jr. of Rockmart, GA, Tom (Shawna) Bourne of Culleoka, TN; mother-in-law, Sara A. Turner of White. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
