Charles Donald "Donnie" Plumley, passed away November 11, 2002. Donnie was born September 29, 1947 in Marietta, Georgia and grew up in Acworth. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace Pinkney Plumley and Vivian Juanita Plumley.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Teresa Lynn Plumley: their son, Chadwick Donald Plumley and his wife, Felicia and their children, Preston and Marion: brother, Wally Plumley: and sisters, Janice Kimmons and Susan Adair: and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donnie worked for Bellsouth for most of his career. He retired as the service manager for 911 for the state of Georgia. Donnie had many passions that included: golf, Blue Grass concerts with his loved ones, relaxing in the mountains, and working on tractors. He was always willing to help anyone who needed help. Donnie was committed to the Lord and served faithfully for their entire marriage at Crossroads Baptist Church in Dallas, Georgia. He served as Deacon and leader for many years.

Visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth, Georgia on Tuesday November 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church, Dallas, Georgia at 2:00 PM on November 15, 2022.
