Charldine Bennett, 88, of Acworth, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022.  Funeral services will be held, 2:00pm Wednesday afternoon in the Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael McPherson and the Rev. Rex Cox officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.  Ms. Bennett retired from Cobb County School System after 10 years of service and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.  She enjoyed working in the yard and quilting and loved going out to eat.  Ms. Bennett was preceded in death by husband, Watson Bennett; sisters, Louise Ramsey and Betty Jo Brown.  She is survived by her children, Terry Ann Bennett, Wanda (Steve) Wilbur and Billy (Brenda) Bennett all of Acworth, Jerry Bennett of Temple; grandchildren, Roby Wilbur, Mandy Reaid, Mark Wilbur, Matthew Bennett, Deanna Callahan, Jonathan Bennett and Kimberly Johnson.  16 great grandchildren also survive.  The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2:00-8:00, Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
