Brett Stephen Miller went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 5th, 2025.

Born on October 4th, 1958, Brett was the son of Bill and Irene Miller of Acworth. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Cindy A Miller. His love and devotion to her was unwavering through their 40 years of marriage. He is also survived by his two daughters Kasey (Charles) Gillham of Talking Rock, and Kelly (Jeff) Partin of Acworth. He was 'PaPa' to 6 grandchildren: Clay and Colt McFarland, Walker, Thompson, and Addison Gillham, and Afton Partin.


Brett first and foremost loved his Lord and Savior. Secondly, his wife and family. His most treasured gift was his salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and he would want everyone to share in this same gift. His faith has ended in sight.


Brett worked 40 years as a lineman. He started his career with Southern Bell and retired with ATT on December the 18th, 2018. Brett loved his job as a lineman working on the T40Telsta truck placing aerial cable. When he retired, he left behind a legacy of hard work and good friends.


He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his youth. he hiked sections of the Appalachian Trail and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. After retirement he spent time with his wife Cindy traveling to the Grand Tetons and Marathon Florida.


Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday May 8th and funeral services will be at 12pm on Friday May the 9th at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth, Burial will be at Carmel Baptist Church in Woodstock.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day: and not to me only but unto all them also that love his appearing."
