Brenda Grace Hamby, 61, of Marietta, died Wednesday, August 26th, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, at 2pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. Mrs. Hamby was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. She attended Sprayberry High School. Her love for her family was evident and she always put others first. She is survived by her husband, Barry Hamby; daughters, Tara Elizabeth Watts (Terry), of Marietta and Terri Ann Bertrand (James), of Colombia, SC; son, Barry Hamby Jr., of Marietta; mother, Sarah Roberts, of Marietta; brother, Carl Roberts (Melanie), of Marietta; sister, Rachel Khodadadi (Hamid), of Auburn, GA; in-laws, Ersie and Polly Hamby, of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill C. Roberts; and sister, Jan D. Roberts. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28 from 6-8 pm at Marietta Funeral Home.
