Obituary

Bobby Eugene Livingston, 81, of Aragon, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Thursday morning in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Privett officiating.  Burial will follow at 2:00 in the Georgia National Cemetery.  Mr. Livingston was born in Atlanta but had lived in Aragon for 35 years.  He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was a retired, self-employed painter.  He was a member of Acworth Lodge # 176 F&AM and was of the Baptist faith.  Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by his children, Glenda Arlene Livingston, Sylvia Tompkins, Tony Bryant, and Jennifer Gravley.  Surviving are his wife, Margie Livingston of Aragon; children, Scotty (Kay) Bryant of Newborn, Brenda (Ron) Miller of Jonesboro, Donna (Greg) Smith of Aragon, Kendall (Robby) Hodge of Cedar Bluff, AL, and Linda Livingston of Acworth; daughter in law, Terrie Bryant of Cedartown; brother, Terry (Laura) Livingston of East Point; sister, Sara Greene of Toccoa; 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.   The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
