Billy Ray Mayton, 77, of Acworth, died Monday, May 20, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday May 23, 2019 in the Iron Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Guider officiating.  Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.  Mr. Mayton will lie in state prior to the funeral service at the church from 1:00 until 2:00.  Billy was born in Harriman, TN and moved to Acworth in 1966.  He was the owner and operator of Maytons Complete Gutter Service and was a member of the Iron Hill Baptist Church. Billy was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lee Frady.  Surviving are his sons, Mark (Becky) Mayton of Rome and Danny Mayton of Acworth; daughter, Valerie Mayton of Acworth; siblings, Dorothy Hester of Cartersville, Lucy Selby of Acworth, Cleta McGinnis of Dalton, Elsie McDavis of Acworth, Frances Corbin of Cartersville, Clyde Mayton of Douglasville and Larry Mayton of Columbus; grandchildren. Mallary, Morgan, Madison, Tyler, Brittney, Daniel and Hanah; great grandchildren Xhane and Bronx.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Wednesday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
