Billy Mayes Kennedy, 71, of Woodstock, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025.  A funeral service will be held at Collins Funeral Home on Friday, February 28 at 2:00pm with Rev. Danny Willis officiating.  Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.

Billy loved taking care of his house and working in his yard.  He was always finding something to keep him busy and strived to do everything well.  He had a big heart and was good to everyone he met.  He loved his family and his Mama's cooking.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Maci Kennedy; mother, Sallie Kennedy; sister, Linda Walker; granddaughters, Kazarah Kennedy, and Kenzie Gravley; grandson, Justin Kennedy; stepson, Timothy Peardon; nieces and nephews, Terry Walker, Jake Walker, Kelly Kennedy, David Kennedy and Shane Kennedy.  He is preceded in death by son, Justin Kennedy; father, Audrey Kennedy; and brother, Bobby Kennedy.

The family will receive friends at Collins Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and Thursday, February 27 from 4:00 to 8:00pm.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.collinsfuneralhome.org.
