Mrs. Betty Beasley Douglas, age 97, of Dallas passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Kimberly Care Home.

Mrs. Douglas was born on March 3, 1926 in Macon, GA to the late Mr. Thomas Beasley and the late Mrs. Alma Marie Carroll Beasley. Betty has resided in Dallas, GA since 1978. She was a member of Dallas First United Methodist Church. She lived a very full life from golfing with her husband, playing bridge, and line dancing into her 80's. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Douglas Jr., sister, Alma Donald, and half-sister, Katherine Rogers.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Douglas Eubanks of Kensington, GA and Joseph (Jody) Douglas III (Paula) of Dallas; grandchildren, Doug Stephenson of Kensington, GA, Robert Stephenson (Amanda) of Kensington, GA, Brittany Morris (Derek) of Cartersville, GA, David Douglas (Misty) of Dallas, and Derek Douglas (Holly) of Byron, GA; great-grandchildren, Ashley Stephenson, Jacob Stephenson, Brie Stephenson, Declan Morris, and Ryder Morris.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Wayne Kirby Community Center at Burnt Hickory Park located at 8650 Cartersville Hwy Dallas, GA 30132.
