Bessie Banister, 86, of Woodstock, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 Sunday afternoon, November 7th at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Lynn Eynon and Pastor Larry McNorton officiating.  Burial will follow at Rolling Hills.  Bessie was born in Woodstock and had lived there all her life.  She worked in the car industry for John Smith Chevrolet for many years and was a faithful member of the Woodstock Christian Church.  Bessie enjoyed entertaining, gospel music and play cards.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Milton and Lillie Belle McClure; husband, Jack Banister; brothers, Herman Kuykendall, Harold Kuykendall and Bunt Kuykendall; sisters, Mildred Sims, Inez Free and Guyrene Lowe.  Surviving includes, her brother, Jack McClure, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per Bessie's request, there will be no viewing or visitation.
