Bennie C. Fortner, 76, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on February 6, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 2:00pm, at Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Bennie was an independent contractor and truck driver for Harris Transport Co.  After his retirement, he worked at Publix for 10 years.  He also loved fishing.

Bennie is survived by his significant other, Sheila Hare; daughter Cindy (Robert) Everett; grandsons, Zane (Elizabeth Howard)  Siniard and Austin (Brianna) Jordan, great-grandsons, Maddox Siniard and Maverick Siniard; brother, C. Fortner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
