Aubrey Eugene "Gene" Hill's Obituary
Aubrey Eugene "Gene" Hill, 72, of Acworth, died Thursday, March 30, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Monday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Pastor John Benning officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hill was a native and lifelong resident of Acworth. He served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam era and was a retired carpenter. Gene was a talented musician and loved to play the piano. Surviving are his son, Robert Hill and spouse Renae of Woodstock; daughter, Juanita Kay Ingram of Hiram; 6 grandchildren including Heather Hill and Savannah Hill of Woodstock; sisters, Joyce Fox of Acworth, Dorothy Conner and spouse Narvel of Kennesaw, and Debbie Teal and spouse Butch of Acworth; several nephews also survive. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
