Obituary

Dr. Ann Marie Kinzer , 82, of Woodstock, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from a rapidly transformed aggressive lymphoma after living for thirteen years with an asymptomatic, low grade form of the disease.  Born May 3rd, 1933 in Old Forge, PA, the youngest out of five daughters of Attorney Saverio Rosato and Louise Saracino Rosato, she graduated with honors form Old Forge High School.  Ann Marie received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine form Temple University and practiced podiatry for many years, first in Washington, D.C. and then in Atlanta.  She also worked as a drug representative for Roche and as an independent jewelry designer.  Ann Marie was a founding member of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church in Jasper, GA.  She dedicated her time at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church as a ledtor, a third grade religious educator, and a volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  On her birthday in 1958, she was wed to Attorney Willima L. Kinzer.  Ann Marie was a loving wife , a generous, caring mother to her five children, a grandmother, and great grandmother (Nana).  Ann Marie was a woman of many talents.  She was an avid reader and on the Board of her local library.  She was a good dancer and she loved to sing in choirs.  She taught herself the art of jewelry design.  She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Eleonore Liva.  She is survived by her sisters, Claire Tedesco (Joseph), Rita Betti, and Frances Liva; her children, Dr. Carolyn KB Wall (Peter), Karen Lowman, Cindy Hirons (Terry), Matthew Kinzer (Diane), and Mark Kinzer, eight grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Ann Marie was a sweet friend to many and a dear companion.  She was a very special person and will be greatly missed.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of Ann Marie Kinzer.  A funeral Mass will be held on March 7th, 11:30am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 490 Arnold Mill Rd., Woodstock 30188 followed by a reception at the church and burial at Gerogia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton 30114
